Travel Arrangements for Church

Good afternoon all,

Please let me know if you (or any students from your coaching group) need a lift to the church service on Friday 31st of March. If so, I’ll add the names you will provide to my list and I’ll have a member of staff who will meet the group at student services at 8.35 am on the day and drive them to the church in the minibus. Please let me know if you have any questions and I’ll be glad to help.

Please let me know if you are also able to drive the minibus and can help out with transportation on the day.

  1. Give students individual thinking time first

  2. Ask students to write down their answer or their key points

  3. Use MWB to support partner talk

  4. State who talks in advance e.g. person sitting on the left starts

  5. Give conversation prompts e.g.I think the answer is… because…

  6. Announce when it’s time to switch speaker

  7. Reinforce the importance of listening

  8. Reinforce the importance of rehearsal

  9. Circulate to check for understanding

  10. Combine partner talk with cold call
