Please visit at least two lessons over the next two weeks, complete your postcard identifying areas of best practice you have seen in one/more areas of the Chelsea Absolutes and the impact this had on student learning then pop it in the postbox by student services.

This term’s open door fortnight from Monday 23rd January will focus on sharing best practice in the four Chelsea Absolutes.

Please sign up on this schedule to indicate when you would be happy to open your doors and welcome visitors to your lessons – the more lessons you can add the better as this presents more opportunities for staff to visit a range of lessons in their non-contact periods.  Thank you in advance.

The following 20 students from Year 7 and Year 8 will be taking part in MIND sessions for the next 4 consecutive Mondays during Period 3 in the Library. On Monday 23rd January, 12 high attaining Year 8 and 9 students will be travelling to St George’s Catholic School in Maida Vale to take part in their first debating competition of the year as part of the Debate Mate programme. They have been working really hard on their debating skills and are excited to showcase them!

We need one more staff member to support on this trip – we’ll leave the Academy at 2.45 and return by approximately 7pm.
